Privacy & cookie notice
Written against what this website actually does, not from a template. Last updated 29 July 2026.
The short version.
- No advertising cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels, no session recording, no ad networks.
- One item is stored on your device: the choice you make in the cookie notice. It is local storage, so it is never even sent to a server.
- The only personal data we receive is what you type into an enquiry form and send us.
- Fonts are served from this domain, so no request goes to Google Fonts or any other font CDN.

What we collect, and when
Nothing, until you send us something. Browsing this site does not create a profile, set an identifier, or report your visit to a third party. There is no analytics script on any page.
When you submit an enquiry form — on the contact page, a product page, or the configurator — we receive the fields you filled in: your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, country or city, building type, number of floors, and your message. We use them to answer your enquiry and to keep a record of the correspondence. That is the only purpose. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.
Legal basis (where the GDPR applies): answering an enquiry you initiated is a legitimate interest, and for a quotation it is pre-contractual. If we ever want to send you something you did not ask for, that needs your consent, separately.
How long we keep it: as long as needed to serve the enquiry and keep our commercial records — a lift is a fifteen-year relationship and service history matters. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep an invoice.

That is the whole list. The configurator keeps your configuration in the
page address (the part after the #) so you can share the
link — that travels in the URL you copy and is not stored anywhere.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is one click, exactly like giving it.
Analytics and marketing
Both categories exist in the cookie notice and both are switched off, because we currently run nothing in either. They are listed rather than hidden so that the day we do add a visitor count, the control is already where you expect it and it starts from “off”. If that day comes, this page gets a new row in the table above before the script goes live.

We are a Chinese manufacturer selling internationally, so an enquiry from Europe or the Gulf does reach servers and staff in China. If that matters to you, tell us in the form and we will handle your enquiry by direct email with our regional partner instead.
Your rights
Where the GDPR or a comparable law applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or object to our using it at all. One email to luoll015@franzlift.com is enough — there is no form to fill in and no fee. We reply within one month. If we get it wrong, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site sells building equipment to property owners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. The cookie declaration is maintained as part of the code, not separately, so it cannot quietly fall out of date.
